1. What were you expectations for this
course and where they met?
When registering for this course I wanted to
know more about art. I did not know anything about art before taking this
course and know I must say this course gave me a good amount of information on
art.
2. Now that you've been through this course,
what is art? How would you define it now compared to your initial posting?
I still believe that art is whatever
someone makes it. Art is very broad and can be interpreted in so many ways that
I never try to pinpoint an actual definition on art because it’s more fun when
you are open to different meanings and interpretations.
3. Who was your favorite artist in your
original posting and who is your favorite visual artist now? If there is a
difference, why do you think so? If you have the same favorite artist, why do
you think so?
At the beginning of this course I did not
have a favorite visual artist. After taking this course realized than I am my
own visual artist because even though I am not very artistic person with every
project that involved creating art I learned a different thing about myself.
This is why I am my favorite artist.
4. Now that you've completed this
course, how do you feel about taking an online course? Is your answer the same
as it was in your first posting? How is it the same or different?
I
like online courses because it teaches me better time-management, preparation
and it taught me a lot about my learning style. I thought that it was good
taking this class because at first I didn’t understand how an art class could
be held on line but the instructor was very creative in incorporating art into
an online course. I would continue to take online courses because I learn and
it gives me more leeway in when I would like to complete assignments,
