1.Which projects did you
review?
The projects that I reviewed were Depictions of
Women through Art by Sarah Romans, The
Queen City by Joe Frangione, Religion in Art: World Beliefs by Jessica Sweet,
and Overwhelming Oceans by Graziella Taravella.
2. Why did you select the Exhibit you critiqued?
I critiqued Overwhelming Oceans By Graziella Taravella .
3. What challenges did you
face in writing the critique article and how did you overcome them?
At first I had trouble
figuring out what to write but once I read over the direction and thought about
how the exhibition made me feel and what I learned. After, I was able to
critique the exhibition.
4. How do you feel about
critiquing your peers work?
I like critiquing other peers work because I feel that it would make my
work better because I can use everything I look for in a critique to evaluate
my work and make sure if someone else was viewing my work would they be able to
understand, learn and be prepared.
5. Would you like to read the critique your peers wrote about your Art
Curation Project?
Yes I would like to read the critique my peers wrote because I would be
able to access my errors and make it better next time.
6. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your finished article and why?
I would rate mine a 10 because I critiqued the exhibition well. I gave
some constructive feedback and I described the artwork and the way it made me
feel. I think if the artist read my critique it would be clear that I analyzed
there critique as a whole.
7. Did you enjoy working on this project?
I liked doing the critique because I got a chance to see how other
people in the course did the assignment and what I could of done better by
looking at other people’s projects. I did not like doing the actual curation
because I do not like slideshows I prefer doing a poster board.
