This mask showed that it has movement due to the yellow part
of the top of its head. That part takes the viewers eyes through the different
directions of the lines. This mask also has variety because there are many
colors used in this mask however this variety creates the unity of the mask.

This mask mostly has rhythm and pattern. Rhythm is shown because
the patterns in the mask are competitive making a rhythm in the mask.
I selected these pieces because all of them had an element
that I wanted to share in my mask. My mask has variety because there are many
prints and stripes but they all come together. My piece has emphasis because
the eyes and nose pop out making them have emphasis and making them apart of
the mask that catches the viewer’s eye. Lastly my mask has rhythm because all
the patterns of the African cloth I used come together as one.
