Peer Posting Reflection
1. When looking at Project #1: (Elements and Principles), did you agree with the element or principle the artist listed with the images? Did you see other elements and principles in the images? The pictures that you have in your slide show are beautiful. All of them represent the elements and principles well. There are some photos you have that could be used for other elements because the picture you used for FORM also can be used for PATTERN because there is a pattern sequence in the table and chair set in the picture. Another one would be SPACE to EMPHASIS because it’s the same type of rocks and the figure which gives it the emphasis on that figure since it’s the only thing that different in the picture it stands out. For Madeline’s slide show I felt that the pictures were also good and that the picture for RHYTHM could have also be VARIETY because the books on the self are not all the same size and they aren’t all the same book.
2. When looking at Project #2: Where there any images in the Peer Blogs the same as your own? If yes, what were they? Where the reasons the image was selected the same or different as your own? One image in the peer blog was the same as mine and this image was 2008, The Quiet of Dissolution, Firestorm, by Sonja Braas. We both got a hysterical vibe from these pictures. Madeline had a picture in common as me which was the Ewrin Wurm but we interpreted differently this person interpreted it as when they was a child and they used to get stuck in their shirts and I interpreted as having my hands tied.
3. Where there any images that your Peers selected that pique your interest now? If yes, what are they and what is your connection with them? What would you want to know about them? I didn’t find any other things that pique my interest the pictures that I picked in my project were the pictures that interest me the most.
4. What do you think about the process of reading your peers reflection? Do you find this to be a valuable in your learning? Yes I liked looking at my peers work because I get a chance to see others peoples prospective on the same ideas. It helps because I do my work alone and when I see other peoples work I get to learn their experiences with the projects or how the felt about the work in the art center.
5. Check your Blog and read comments posted by your Peers. Do you find their comments helpful? As of right now I do not have any comments on my blog.
